Basically, we know (2016) three ways to realize quantum components:
  • low temperature superconductor junctions
  • NMR, nuclear magnetic resonance effects
  • Optical components
Every technology offer strong and weak points.

Quantum Dynamic is combining existing technologies in order to realize a new development platform suitable for rapid prototyping  and small scale production of quantum computers integrated circuits. We would like to avoid high vacuum and cryogenic pumps. We would like give the opportunity to experiment with new circuit architecture without long and expensive development cycle.

In a few words, the basic ideas:
  • as the common silicon integrated circuits, we built the quantum components over a substrate. Basically, we will realize 2D circuits;
  • an STM (scanning tunneling microscope) will be used as atomic manipulator and visualizer of the assembly procedure.
An STM "printer" is intrinsically slow machine, not suitable for mass production but relatively easy to build and very flexible in the usage. Last but not least, you can build one with a relatively modest budget (less than 10kE).

FRINGE: an outer edge; margin; periphery; something regarded as peripheral, marginal, secondary, or extreme in relation to something else. In a world where uncertainty, doubt and indetermination are the dominant factors, unconventional solutions are the way: the unthinkable becomes possible, the unfair becomes standard and the impossible, inevitable.
